Redeemable Mafia
Prologue As I walk onto the stage, I can’t help but feel nervous. It’s been a month since I, Iris Bailey-Costello, became a widow. I miss Austin, My Husband, dearly. When we first wed, I disliked him like a burning fire. But in my religion, we became one and I could not go back to the way it was before, all I could do was make do with what I had. Now as I touch my belly and hold it tight, I talk about my late husband as a new man that I loved. “Mrs. Costello, you wrote a book about the most famous Italian Mafia leader in all of Italy, how do you feel about the success of the book?” the Interviewer asks. “To be honest, I don’t know how to feel.” I say almost out of breath. “Would you like to tell us all how this all started?” the interviewer asks very intrigued. “Let me start from the beginning before we ever met.”
